Plastic Molding Manufacturing Process

1, Clamping, The mold is closed by a clamping unit, screw begins moving forward for injection.
2, Injection，塑料颗粒是通过料斗喂入注射型机器的。这些颗粒通过注射单元向模具移动。枪管周围的热量和压力融化了颗粒。然后将这种熔融塑料喂入模具，并施加压力，确保材料的保持和包装。
3, CoolingThe cooling process involves the plastic inside the mould beginning to cool after it makes contact with the interior mould. Cooling is done so as to solidify the molten plastic into the desired shape. The part may shrink slightly during cooling. It must be noted that mold should not be opened until required cooling time is elapsed.
4，弹射As soon as the cooling time elapses, the cooled part is subjected to be ejected from the mold with the help of the Ejection Unit. Ejection is done through the opening of mold where a mechanism pushes the final product out of the mold.

2K Injection Molding is also known as two-shot molding, double shot molding, two-component injection molding or multi-component injection molding. With this technology, two materials with different properties, colors or levels of hardness are processed into one end product in one injection molding process.
Over Molding
Overmolding is a unique injection molding process where a single part is created using two or more different plastic materials in combination. During the overmolding process, the base layer is molded first and the additional plastic layer(s) are molded over and around the original part – resulting in a single, finished product.
Insert Molding–Vertical Injection Molding
